Conner Stines went with me to get this recording. This siren is located at 45th and Bell St. The city is slowly replacing the small sirens with 508's but these are all still up. Hope for along time too!

That's alot of sirens!! And to think you have seen most all of them in person. Lot's of miles on the CR-V! If i find anymore replacements in this area, I'll let you know.

Went with connerdstines to get a video of a 1000 Thunderbolt located on the north side of Amarillo. The older sirens, such as these, are slowly being replaced by the new FS 508's. So we decided to video this one.

The 2T22 by Westgate mall was rebuilt and installed where an AL4000 was. And of course a 508 was put in its place. This one, per the EOC director, had the motor burn up. Don't know what they are going to do with it or the other 3 that were taken down as well as the Banshee that was also replaced by ...

It seems that way. What's strange is these smaller sirens are being replaced with louder sirens making abundant overkill. There is a 508, Cyclone, and 2001 all within eye sight of each other. Love it!!
