Yes I can! I'll get a picture of the other one later.
How can you tell what year it is?

My New Toys!!

I just bought two Fedelcode sirens today!! I got them for just $200 with a bunch of other antiques and miscellaneous things!! I haven't put power to them yet but the rotors do spin! http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/af76/cianci99/Antiques/DSC05374_zps0c63c0b3.jpg http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: Small Mystery Siren

Thanks for the replies and the info! It looked like it had holes for a motor housing but that's even better that it is in fact complete. The rust isn't really pitting. I'll wire wheel it and paint it and it'll look fine. I'll defiantly test the relay at some point.
Thanks again!

Small Mystery Siren

I just bought a small siren at a swap meet for $15. I apparently have to adjust the rotor out. It's missing the motor housing so there's no ID plate. It's stamped 1973 on the motor and just above the date it has a small shield with two diagonal lines stamped into it. The trumpet is 5.25" in dia...

Model 28 Rear Bearing

I can't red the numbers that are on the old bearing. Does anyone know where I can get another bearing or give me a part number?
Thanks!

Federal Model 2 Restoration

This is the restoration of my Federal Sign and Signal Model 2 air raid siren. I bought it for $100. I don't know what year it is. If anyone has any questions about the restoration just ask, I'll try to answer them the best I can. I'll eventually post videos of it running.. This is how it originally ...

Federal Electric Type F Siren Restoration

This is my Federal Electric Co. Inc. Type F Siren from (I think) 1937. I purchased it from a friend for $10 not too long ago. I haven't seen too many Type F sirens around so it may be rare. This is a picture of the siren before I restored it. http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/af76/cianci99/Antiques...
