I've looked like crazy on Google Maps for that roof mounted MD...but in the area I thought it was located...there is now a bunch of new construction. Considering it was 10 years ago that I saw the thing, the building may very well have been scrapped.

Still, I'll keep hunting for it.

With much thanks to Eian (djscrizzle), I managed to get ahold of Robert Gift and he told me a few different siren locations in Englewood. Here is either an Allertor or MD at Broadway & Layton in Englewood (hard to tell at this distance): Just to the right & above the white building An Allert...

I'm going to have to scour Englewood soon. Mantis, if it helps...I remember the building being no more than 2-3 stories high..maybe only 1 story...in a commercial (as opposed to homes) area. Warehouses, office buildings, that kind of thing. I will putz around with Google Maps and see if I can help ...

I definitely remember the one I saw was an MD and was on the corner of a building...man I wish I could find the darn thing.
