Re: Mystery Police Siren

Also all the pictures of this siren say it's a loudspeaker. Is it just a small PA speaker or a police/firetruck siren?

Re: Lisco, NE mystery siren

Btw, this siren was replaced by a Sentry 7v8-H-B. How did they get the money for one of those??????? :? Broadwater and Sunol Nebraska have 7v8-H-Bs as well, it could've been a regional EM thing. If that's the case, im surprised they arent Whelens! That seems likely that they just spread out their s...

Re: Is this a Musical Siren or a Vent?

Just a vent. The only music sirens in the US are a few unconfirmed first gen units. All 12 second generation units have been found and all are in Japan. There's also a duct on the side. Okay. Just wanted to make sure, but if I'm being honest, it does kinda look like the Japanese musical siren. Than...

Is this a Musical Siren or a Vent?

I found this in Phoenix, AZ and I looked at it and was like, "Is that a Musical Siren??????". Based on the fact that it has a vent coming out of it, it's probably just a big exhaust fan of sorts. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.4487605,-112.0751238,3a,15y,102.18h,118.99t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!...

Re: Port Aransas CD Siren System

That's sad that it's not there as I like EOWS sirens. I wonder what happened to it.

Re: How heavy is the fedelcode model 5 by chance

I couldn't find that discussion, but holy cow that's heavy. The reason I asked is because there's an inactive fedelcode in Grand Island Nebraska and I want to get it because I've been trying to get a big siren and that one is my chance. Thanks though! I'm glad that this is a website because all the ...

Re: California E57’s

I hope someone answers this question because I posted something similar to this a while back and they told me that these were remnants of when Hormann was in CA, but I hope they weren't scrapped. That would suck because those are cool sirens.

How heavy is the fedelcode model 5 by chance

I want to know the weight of a fedelcode model 5 because I'm planning on getting one and I need to know if me and other people can remove it by hand without the need of a crane. It's not hooked up to power, so that's one less step. Please answer because I'm clueless. I'm guessing 200-300 pounds but ...

Re: Bradshaw, NE's 2001

I know I'm sending a LOT of messages, but here's what the clerk in Hampton said and now I'm as you guys say, pissed. Screenshot 2024-03-13 at 12.13.24 PM I still hope the image works... EDIT: If the image doesn't work, they said that they disposed of the siren for liability reasons :( Instea...
