:P Yep, that one is mine :P, in one of the Erickson class ones, the town had two sirens, 1 was the old Erickson & its successor a Eclipse*8 (with the controls in the station). I was hopeing that both would sound & I had a 3rd one set up to in an attempt to catch both going off but alas, the ...

Very Nice sound but whats with the warbling from the vid? is it the siren or just plain old overload on the camera microphone?

Installing a siren head (unless its not recommended by the company) & control boxes on the pole before its set, does save time, money, & gas cost.

Modulators with the 7 pods, Iforces & WPS 2905-2910 HAVE to be installed AFTER the pole is set.

Just realized this funny scene

Here in this video, a 3T22 is sounding for the State Wide Tornado Drill in Minnesota in 2009. This siren is by the city pool but I just noticed that with the yellow truck in the way, it looks like the siren impaled the truck! Have looksie for yourself.   Video: http://www.youtube.com...

AC only powered sirens (todays models)

Well, seeing a few 2001 AC models, I find those interesting & amusing to see. I can understand why they would purchase a new siren that has only AC use (I.E. 2001*AC, Eclipse*8/NH*AC, ect. ect.) Like these sirens here in South Dakota & Minnesota. County: Lake. Town: Nunda. Siren Company: Fed...

I noticed that some of the sirens DONT have the battery box below em.
But only having these NICE but limited views, I say some of em are AC powered purely.

Any thoughts?
