They have 2 or 3, that one is on the east end of town south of the main E/W road.

Re: Scream-Masters found in D/FW area Texas?

I still maintain the Grapevine siren isn't a Scream Master. It looks like a model 2 or 2V8 in an aftermarket housing. Look at that security camera vs the shadow of the siren motor/stator.

Re: Any Rare Siren finds to know about In Missouri Oklahoma Or North Texas?

The 40Vs were mentioned in Atoka. These are actually quite rare as they were the very first production models. They don’t have angle projector faces like the standard ones, rather just long ones with little flare. You can see one very easily from the main road thru town. Unfortunately many towns alo...

Re: Rockwall P-50 and P-10 To Be Retired This Month

Has anyone contacted Rockwall EMS to see what they're planning to do with the removed sirens? No but I am thinking that the P-50's main motor is dead. It seems like it is turning for tests, but I haven't heard it in months. ...so trash can is where that really needs to go. I don't know about the p-...

Re: Rockwall P-50 and P-10 To Be Retired This Month

I will let y'all know when the replacement goes up. I Live on the north side of Rockwall and am through there every couple of days. I can take some pics as well. Would be neat to grab that old -50 when they take it down, but I have no idea where I would put it.

Re: Rockwall P-50 and P-10 To Be Retired This Month

Replacements will more than likely be T-128 series, though they might put in the "new" T-135 series where the old one was. All of their expansion lately has been -128's, and I don't see them changing that anytime soon.

Re: Rockwall P-50 and P-10 To Be Retired This Month

To be fair the original units for that system are about 40 years old. Upgrades aren't always a bad thing, though it sucks the P-50 isn't working anymore. At least one of the Alertroncis are starting to sound bad as well.

Re: ASC video...with an FS MOD???

Nothing out of the ordinary occurring with this practice. All of the competition buys each others' products and tires to improve upon them. That's what makes competition so fun. You can go to any other manufacturer here in the US and find something they didn't make. I have seen Whelens at Sentry, AS...

Re: Gainesville TX Future Siren System? Mmmm.... no

Major bump, but after emailing the fire chief, the city decided to bring the system back online! That includes the T-135 and I'm guessing the Thunderbolt?! The city still tests on the first Monday at 1:30 Amazing what a close call will do... There are a few cities in West Texas that have taken a di...
