Happens all the time. No reason to hate,that means knockoffs of your favorite classic warning sirens that's all.We live in a nation that just happens to manufacture good design stuff.and when there's a good design, it sometimes gets copied.................

Hmmm, looks like a cartoon drawing to me, you ever see the movie "Yellow Sumarine"? it kinda looks like the yellow submarine periscope,not a siren.just an observation........

Each different 500 had different port configurations to produce the different single/duel tones you hear. I can't give you specifics on that third interval fourth interval duel toned stuff cause I'm alittle fuzzy on that so someone else on here can tell you those specifcs.....

Too bad Federal signal does'nt have a archive section on their website giving a brief history on every siren they've manufactured since the 1940's or so.That would make some very interesting reading..........

where did you find the date code on each siren? particularly your 2t22?? is it stamped on the motor housing somewhere? I could'nt find one.........
