Wooster Siren #1 - Federal Signal 2001-SRN (9/2/13)

Well Well. It's Labor Day. Bored out of my mind. I actually then remembered it was test day for Wooster. I asked my parents if I could see Stoney Creek's 2001-130, but we didn't have time. Instead, my Grandpa took me to this one again. I really enjoyed it. Enjpy what I have.

Re: Lakewood, OH: Federal Signal EOWS-612

Orrville's 612 is a mix and match. It rotates for it's test, but that's just my hypothesis, I didn't hear it on test day from a block away. (1st Wednesday @ 12:00 PM)

I might come back here again soon, mostly to test a chime test. Lordstown is too far from me.

Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I promised myself not to travel more than 90 miles for the rest of the year, but I have been waiting for this post for more than two years. I'll break that promise and go. However, I have a few silly questions. Curious converter, On! 1) Is the Hurricane going to be used in any way? 2) What would be ...

Re: Virtual Siren Hunt: Dayton, Ohio area

In general? I've seen some. Tallmadge and Lakewood, both in Ohio, have roof mounted 612s.

Also, not trying to be off-topic, does Germantown have other sirens besides the Sentry 10V2T next to the Sterling?

Very Cool photos, Sifed1.

Whelen-ish EOWS 612 - Barberton, OH

a1a1H2BSIrg Today, my friend Mike went off to record a 612 in Barberton, OH. I was suprised to see that it sounds like a Whelen WPS-3016. Probably has a Whelen soundcard, but the controls ARE SiraTone, so I'm a bit confused. Does anyone know anything about this? Anyway, 612 starts @ 0:48. Enjoy the...

Re: Wooster 2001-SRN (AMAZING ECHO)

Yeah, I know. I usually edit to where the siren starts, but it wasn't until after I uploaded the video, that I forgot to edit the other part. Oh well, I'll think twice next time.
