Re: Need help on wiring my Model 2

Yeah, you'll want everything in your circuit to able to handle the current draw, or else you'll be creating a huge fire hazard. Will this cord do good? The only problem is I do not know if I should buy it or not because the amount of amps it can handle is not listed. https://blueearthsustainable.co...

Re: Need help on wiring my Model 2

For the 240v plug that connects to the motor starter, can I get any type of 240v plug or does it have to be one that can withstand the sirens amperage?

I changed the wiring diagram a little. Is this how you're supposed to wire it? Also is it bad for the 2 wires on terminal L1 to be touching each other?

Re: My New Toy (formerly Tboltfan no longer owns a T-Bolt)

I think that you should restore the siren. Paint the legs black and paint everything else a dark gray (stator, ring, chopper motor assembly, intake). Speak of (but let's not go too far ot...) how's your model 2? Doing pretty good so far. I have a motor starter for my siren and I am about to get an ...

Re: Need help on wiring my Model 2

Okay. I think I get it now (Sorry if I am wrong). So the AR has its own separate power supply (120V or 240V) which connects to terminals 8 & 9 (120V) or terminals 7 & 9 (240V). Then terminals 1 & 2 connect to the motor starter terminals 3 (AR terminal 1) & L1 (AR terminal 2) . Now fo...

Do you have a schematic drawing for the wiring? I am still a little confused on how everything will go together.

Re: Indoor Notification... with a 10V?

Or maybe an attempt to heat the siren? Interesting regardless. Thats probably why they did that. I know of a video where there was a 2T22 with a black tube sticking into the intake. During the winter months, they would connect a tube to the exhaust of a truck which would help warm up the siren. So ...
