Thunderbolt 1000T & CoolEditPro

I have been experiminting(sp) with Cool Edit Pro and a pair of
t-bolt recordings. This "recording" is approximatly(sp) what Houston's
t-bolts sounded like on the Friday noon tests.

Are you going to sound(push the button) the 500 this year?
Is it a 500 or 500AT?
If you have a large pickup and a generator you could mount one of
your Thunderbolts in the back and take it over there! LOL!

Thanks DjT1003 and James for the prompt reply.

After you posted the reply and looked at my thunderbolt manual
and found it. our sirens were activated over dedicated telephone
lines with an "air Raid Siren Dailer" from the old E.O.C. located
beneath the Colluseum (now torn down).

Houston Texas thunderbolt 1000-T's

Back in the day (pre 1980's) when we had 29 T-bolts :D ,The Friday noon test would run for 3 min. 1 min. 30 sec. for alert & 1 min. 30 sec. for attack. Both alert and attack were together,no break between both modes(the blower and rotator did not stop.) How was this accomplished? was this a cust...
