Square Horned STL-10s?

Hey all! I was recently having a conversation with a friend of mine about an older inpatient facility in Fairfax, Viriginia. It was called Lee Ann Peyton, RPh (https://goo.gl/maps/9K86H1XKbGp Can be seen here with google maps, does not have street view coverage but satellite imaging is available) Th...

Re: Cheyenne, WY Warning Siren History

What an awesome system, I wish information about the history of siren systems and how they've changed over the years was an easier sort of information to come by.
Great job compiling it all!

Re: UPDATED (SIREN EXISTS): The Whelen WS-2500

Oh wow, that pamplet is amazing. Not only detailing a totally unheard of siren, but also explicitly mentioning the existence of a mobile siren too. Wasn't there another thread recently discussing the existence of mobile warning sirens like that? What a cool find in so many different ways, thank you ...

Re: ATI HPSS 32 Siren Test, Arnold, Missouri

Wow! I used to live in Arnold back in early 2017, I knew about the ATIs but was told that they were no longer active. I wonder if I was misinformed or if their usage is more of a recent change? Either way, I love seeing footage of sirens I'm familiar with personally. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Re: Sirens in Greenland

Way cool! I always love thinking about how many siren manufacturers must exist out there internationally that we're totally unaware of. I'd love to hear that ambiance you recorded!

Re: Allertor in Jasper County/Joplin MO area?

I think at this point it could have been wishful thinking on my part, I get real giddy at the idea of seeing old sirens haha. I know some of the old sirens were donated to nearby communities instead of scrapped, but all things considered, if they had simply been moved I figure someone would have fou...

Re: Allertor in Jasper County/Joplin MO area?

I want to say I think whatever I heard was too mechanical/controlled of a ebbing and waning to have been a leaf blower, but that is something I considered at first too! I believe it was rotating, sounded like it took about 20 seconds to do a full rotation and was best audible for half of that. Very ...
