I believe ASC uses straight DC unless you specify otherwise. They say they offer full UPS operation, which would be fully DC. Federal appears to be more AC/DC than straight DC. Only major exception to this would be Chicago, which is straight DC.

Yes the previous one was good, but the one before that was pretty simplistic too. Logos change, products change. I don't think the new logo is any better or worse, just different.
