Thank you, holler.

I assumed it would require its own extension.
Would be nice if we had a fax line.
The fax could be disconnected when not needed.

Unfortunately, with the IP address phone system, I doubt this can work.

You'll need a Viking RC-3 to do that. They run anywhere from $88-$200 sometimes. Here's one I found for you that's only $88: http://www.ipphone-warehouse.com/Viking-Remote-DTMF-Control-RC-3-p/viking%20-%20rc-3.htm This is the same device that I'm going to be using to remotely activate my Model 2 if...

Can we call the fire station and remotely sound the siren?

Is there a way to input a code, for example: 8676236 (TORNADO) that would operate the siren from an officer's telephone or cell phone without anyone having to get to the fire station? We could obtain a radio receiver to activate the 2t22 when the City of Aurora (to the west of us) activates their Wh...

When did they start using the modern Fs logo?

If Federal Signals say the serial number is useless, is this the only clue I can find?

What is the last two digits of the serial number on your 2t22? I'll have to go out and read it from the siren. My wife discarded the paper on which I had the name plate numbers written. Just noticed that one can barely see the Fs logo in her photo. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c121/SD-10/Siren...

2t22A has modern FS logo. Date indicator?

Federal Signal said their serial number on the 2t22 is of no value in determining the date of manufacture.

Can their modern Fs on the siren be a clue?

Apparently there was a CD (/\) in a 3? inch circle above the exisiting logo.

Thank you.

Under that category, the Christmas bells at the Denver City and County Building should be listed.

Train station just beyond the fire station?
Or was it moved there?
