The older Japanese sirens have three or six horns. Newer ones typically don't have horns.

I don't know about the grease, but if the motor runs and as long as the stud on the diaphragm isn't too worn, the klaxon should be good for many more years.

Probably a Cunningham Air Whistle array installed by Federal Signal in the 1940's.

These horns are in Irwin, Pennsylvania, but typical of many fire departments in northern California.

Thank you! On my last two trips to Australia I'd hunted for these to no avail. I believe they were made there in the 40's.
