I really like the Whelen on the Cumming water tower. That's something I've never seen before, but makes perfect sense. Cool pictures!

I honestly like those colors better than plain old white. It leaps out at you against the blue sky. Cool pictures!

I've managed to get some more photos together, so here they are. They are all 2001s however, the next batch will have a bit more variety. There is a map on Google called "Ramsey County, MN Siren System" that I found and I've been working on a map called "Minnesota Siren Locations". Mine also includes Ramsey County but it is kind of a mess and far from complete.

Hey NanSiren,

Do you know if that SD-10 is still in Medford? I haven't got out there yet but it's on my list. Cool photos.

I remember that Thunderbolt at the State Fair. I have always wanted to go up it the Space Needle and shoot an areal of it with a telephoto lens.

Robert, In that one picture of a watertower that has both an STH-10 and a Model 5 which siren do they use? From what I know, they just use the STH-10. It was rebuilt over a year ago after being struck by lightning. That's why it has that funky motor housing. They were going to take the Model 5 down...

Nelso90 wrote:I think that 2800 in Duluth is actually a 2910. It's got the narrower mesh in it. Good catch though, I go up there all the time, and I haven't caught that siren. I know they're putting in a new system though.
Dang, you guys are good, I can't tell the difference. Thanks for the correction.
