My dear heavens!! Ben Shinn has graced the board with his presenence!! For any of you sprouts who don't know Ben Shinn, there are 32 or more Thunderbolts in York County, Pa with his name on them.... literally. He made his own T-bolt horn screens and redid alot of the sirens in the Peach Bottom Nucle...

That horn in the New Hyde Park clip is actually a Diaphone, albiet a really smooth sounding Diaphone. It is quite impressive of a sound though, I will give it that. I am not sure why this Diaphone sounds so good or has this particurlar sound.

Well, he got trashed for that as well.... but there were recordings that people claimed he stole and crap like that. Someone used the Pottsville siren clip, said that he had on his site as something else. I looked the day that was posted, there is no where on there that he has that recording.. label...

This is a bit of creativity on this STH-10, I guess the old motor burnt out and they replaced it with one that has a belt drive set up between the new motor and the rotor shaft.
