I belive they used a wisconsin. (Which are often rebadged as Onan.)

Seems to me the more air to "Chop" the greater the sound output.

Screamer = Screams loudly

Mobil Directo = A mobile gas powered siren that can be trailer mounted, which is directional.

Most of them are pretty self-explanatory.

Super charges it, by pushing more air into the chopper. It has more air to "Cut" making it louder,

With out it it's about as loud as a model 2 siren.
