Question about siren shipping costs.

I have the chance to latch on to a decent used Model 5 siren currently located in PA. Just wondered if anyone had any idea as to how much it would cost to get it shipped to Texas and if motor freight would be the only way.

And to think in Long Beach , Calif. they had the nerve to say they could go to a high rate reverse 911 mode and dial us all up in about one hour ! Shure over 400,000 population .......... :shock: Thanks for the 60,000 thousand figure input, I have been waiting to read on the Forum some real figures...

Texas Motor Speedway siren

I'd be curious to know why they have a siren at the racetrack. Do they use that in the event of a major crash? I've worked most of my adult life as a medic at a lot of racetracks in Texas but have never seen one that used a siren. I think that's cool, though.
