Re: HOR Super Sirex|Alert|Hamilton OH

Yes, there are two left in the town of Herrin, Illinois. They are not in use and have been sitting dormant for quite some time now.

Re: West shore services shipping?

They'll ship you the whole damn yard if you'll pay enough. Jokes aside, I'm sure if you're willing to spend the money and are somewhat serious about what you want they will definitely look into shipping options. Don't expect anything to be cheap though.

Welcome to the board! We have plenty of IL siren enthusiasts around. I used to live in the area up until 3 weeks ago and am very familiar with the area. Feel free to check out the statewide map! https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1vAEwdglw4xYQxvgSgM_VEbLQTzY&hl=en_US&ll=42.54338007...

Re: Ferry building Thunderbolt

Back in the days of civil defense, no expense was spared. If a siren needed to be on-top of a 50 story building to achieve optimal sound coverage, you bet your arse it was going on that building.

Re: Thunderbolt 1000T at Carbondale, IL

You're in my town! I had no idea you came through here. This siren actually just got back online. It had blower issues and they were fixed over the summer.
