Re: What happened to the sirens in Purcell, Ok.?

Re: Advice for siren video posters.

Guilty of this for multiple counts. Don't record a siren using your iPad, that is if you have shaky arms.

Re: Seattle/Tacoma Thunderbolts

Daniel, when I head south on I-5 towards Portland, there's an (I think abandoned or disused) nuclear site off to the west, the cooling towers visible over the trees past the river. On the left side, in two places-- once right along the freeway, and again just before a small town, up a hill in a lit...

Re: Seattle/Tacoma Thunderbolts

I can only help with southeastern Washington at the moment, and there isn't much out here. Aside from the usual small-town Model 2's and 5's, the only unusual things around here are two remaining Model 5's in Kennewick, several Modulators in the Hanford area, a couple of old Thunderbolts in Yakima,...

As of right now, Fife (to the immediate east of Tacoma) has several Modulators, 2001s, and inactive Whelen 3016s all for Geohazard purposes. The Port o...

Re: Seattle/Tacoma Thunderbolts

TelcoJoe, you seem a little familiar. Are you ACACyclone120, aka JoJoes123 Sirens? No. I am new to this board. I have lived in Seattle my whole life (between Seattle and Bellevue). I was wondering when they stopped testing them as I think I would have heard them in the early 70's. I've always been ...

Re: Cushing, Oklahoma Thunderbeam

Seems as if Cushing is beginning to replace their siren system with new Mods and 2001s, as you mentioned in a topic that you posted last year.
