Re: Denver Siren in MN

This looks very similar to the one my uncle photographed, probably is the exact one.

Re: Chopper question

By any chance did the Tbolt you get have a rotator panel that fell off and had a homemade looking screen? Just wondering, when I was there, they removed two, I wondered who was getting the other one...

What a fantastic sound! My siren dreams are complete! lol That wind down sounds quite interesting, now are both of those sirens running? I wish they'd zoom in....

Sure must have been a lot of bees!! Glad to hear that they "recycled' some sirens, instead of buying new ones.

Re: New (to me) Model 5T

See this is why I can't have one of these sirens, I know not to stick my finger in it, but still I want to. Most likely I would. So of course I'd lose a finger if I had one.

Some of them are rusted in such a way that they are razor sharp too.....

Re: Can someone identify this horn pair?

I guess I have one of those horns too. Schwarze, I couldn't find any markings on mine but I'm sure it's similar. There were several at the flea market.
By any chance, was that a German Company? Schwarze means black in Deustch.

Re: Need some tips with making a wooden siren

My tip: use the strongest glue you can find, maybe even screws and make sure it's well balanced .
