That motor could very well be original. In fact, 1979 sounds about right for capicator start/run. Keep in mind, the M-10 was discontinued sometime after 1984, as shown here:
Okay THAT is something I did not know. It could very well be possible that it's original.
The siren is definitely way older than the motor. Probably made around the 30s-40s. Looks like they swapped the original with a single phase. I wonder how that worked out.
Do you have the controls to the siren head itself?
6CcGKYuaiyE This is one of the sirens that was destroyed in the 2013 tornado. This is a newer Mod with the UV controller, probably one of the last few of the previous generation to roll off the line. The nearby 2T22 did not go off, but you can hear the 2001, a 508, almost all of their Thunderbolts,...

From what I've heard from various sources, Blue Valley did the work and the song goes, unless the old siren is magically still there, it's gone forever.
I've been kinda in and out of the game for awhile, so here's the last few videos I've made that I never got around to sharing on here. Moore, OK For some reason, none of my videos are embedded properly, so here are some labeled links. Thunderbolt 1000T - Janeway and 12th https://www.youtube.com/watc...
Yeah we're taking I-40 west from the 81 junction in El Reno. I know about everything until the Texas border. After that is uncharted territory for me. I'd like to maybe catch a siren test but I don't know any testing schedules out that way.
I am taking a trip to Santa Fe, NM next week and I plan on getting some siren pictures and possibly a video. My question is, are there any sirens within a decent distance of Santa Fe that test regularly? I know they aren't as common in that area so I figured I'd give a shout on here to see if anyone...
