Yeah, I figure its Sterling M-5 that has the new ebay name of wheelock7002t. I do now. The Sterlingm-5 name was my g/f's account (she used the name of one of my sirens and put my name on it so her mom wouldn't find out  ). She was looking for a birthday gift for me and bid on that 7 and...

That is the rotor and stator of a Model 5/7. Judging by it's size I'm speculating it's a 7. I wonder why it was pulled from the rest of the motor.

I saw a P-10 in Salem County NJ used for the atrificial island power plant right in the middle of someone's front yard. I'm not too sure how the homeowner feels about it but they did plant flowers around the pole

Re: We got it

I had a scanned copy of the WS-2000 installation manual - I sent it on to Mr. Hackler. It has all the Whelen data. However, if you can take measurements up close and personal, I would love the test data. Rather than stick you in a bucket truck, please take a measurement at ground level at 200 feet ...

what you're hearing is a 2805 with most likely a dual toned 3016 in the background. I'm 100% certain the dominant siren you hear is a 2805 because someone I know went down there to check it out and saw it.

I have had many incounters with the WS 2000 series up close, and there's still quite a few in use around me (mainly as fire sirens). I think if memory serves me right the WS 2016 is 115db @ 100ft. The 2012 I speculate is around 110db and the 2008 around 105db. The 2000-R is 115db if I remember right...
