I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this to you in another thread that I lived in Bloomington for a while.
Oh, and have you ever been in Iowa?
Actually, No. Never been any farther west than St. Louis.

Re: Sirens and Watertowers

You've been there? No, but lived in the area. Avid google maps hunter. I'm in the middle of writing a cool post about the Perrysburg Ohio 3T22. I lived in the Bloomington/Normal area, Le Roy, home of a 16v1t (-b), and yeah. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this to you in another thread that I lived i...

Perrysburg Ohio 3T22-Cool Photos and "Helping" with Repairs

So, back in May of 2015 (Yea, this was a while back) I got in contact with Perrysburg City Fire Department in Ohio about a solenoid problem on their Federal Signal 3T22, located on the water tower behind their station. In doing this, the chief responded to my messages saying that they were already i...

Re: Sirens and Watertowers

....and in Downs, IL, there is a 2001 near a water tower. It's also near the smallest town hall I've ever seen. Also, Perrysburg, Oh has a 3T22 behind the water tower. I'll be making a post about it soon. You've been there? No, but lived in the area. Avid google maps hunter. I'm in the middle of wr...

I love that mount, and cool pick with the Eclipse, hope it's not the replacement. Maybe...

Re: Soundmaster 125 siren found!

I just looked at the Current street view for Gibson, and I thing it's the end for this siren. I looked down the road and long behold, a Whelen Vortex down at the community center a block or 2 from there. :vortex:

Wood County Ohio Sirens, Gonna be Hitting 2 Birds with One Stone Tomorrow

I'm planning on going to 2 sirens for the test tomorrow in Toledo Area, also wondering if anyone is filming in the area. My siren picks are the XT22 in Luckey Ohio, and a Whelen (28 or 29-06 Omni) that does a noon whistle in Woodville, Ohio (Technically in Sandusky County). I have confirmation, it d...

Re: Choices on siren replacements. Any Ideas?

They looked at what was wrong with the siren already, It's actually the siren head itself. The controls and everything else are fine. There are bearing problems, rotator problems, and it's a bit rusty and a little dented on one side of the horn (don't know how that happened), so I'll give the city y...

Re: Choices on siren replacements. Any Ideas?

I know the fire chief and the mayor, I'll see what they like about the idea. And once that siren dies out, I'll see about acquiring it.
