They did at one time, but now it's home to Clayton Werden's sports photography business.

You could also use a screw blower, like what IHI or Lysholm makes but you'd have to change the drive ratio because they put out almost twice the amount of air volume and pressure as a Roots blower of the same size.

I'd imagine that would be an excellent siren if combined with a Whelen or Hormann tone generator.

I wouldn't want to have a 50hp siren unless I lived in the middle of nowhere. Powering one would be interesting, though.

The average cost of a single ATI installation, as I understand it, costs almost as much as installing two Whelen 2809s!

Yup, those are all old H.O.R. sirens. NYC has no sirens, (there is a 40V2T on a synagogue though) though there are a few forgotten sirens still waitng to be found. Isn't that the same "synagogue siren" I read about on the old board which sounds every time they have a service? I think it's...
