Thunderbolt 1000BT Siren Test-Willard, MO-Attack Signal

Today, Cruz and I headed up to Willard, MO for the test of this Thunderbolt. This one has an air leak in the blower. At some points during the test, you can hear the 1003A from downtown.

Yes, they can do voice... I think all of them were voice capable if I'm not mistaken, but don't quote me on that.

Re: Thunderbolt 1000t in Mason, TX

It's interesting they have the rotator turned off. A few towns here in Missouri do that as well. What puzzles me is that the "Control" switch is on test, and the Chopper and Blower switches are on automatic. I guess that's what they mean by "manual activation".

If it is an ACA Superbanshee, that's where the other half of the siren would go. It's only missing the top chopper and top housing. As for the cone-shaped thing on the top, I've no idea.

Looks like a rigged ACA Superbanshee

Federal Signal 2001-SRN Siren Test- 6/10/15

Today was test day for our county. So, I decided to walk to the nearest SRN to get a recording. Sorry for the video quality. I was zoomed in too far. Enjoy!

Re: How long does your City/County sound the sirens for?

Here in Greene County, MO, our siren policy is:
Test: Second Wednesday of Each Month at 10:00 AM. Attack signal

Tornado Warning: 3 minutes on, 3 minutes off, repeated until warning expires in the Attack signal.

Re: Fake video list

An update on this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap3MHx6k-rA The kid now claims that this was in Springfeild, MO, and that he always gets his cities mixed up. I reported him yesterday. ROFLOL. Springfield, MO ain't got no sirens that sound like that. Bahahaahaha. It's so pathetic it's funny. ...

Re: Mishawaka, IN SRN 5/7/15

Edit: It was probably the FC or what ever controller it was running on. I have seen other 2001's do this, so that's why I figured it was normal.

No. Most 2001's do this in the "Fast Wail" mode.
