Your video is awesome!... I am familiar with Franklin County as I have been in the OEM office there. But Franklin County sucks now for sirens..They took down all their SD10's and 5T's in the early 90's and put up those cheesy Whelen PA speakers. I will PM you my questions

Thanks!

Wisconson Sirens

From what Ive seen, Wisconson has a lot of nice Federal # 5/7 type sirens, SD10's & STH10's ... That's a nice change up from most mid-west states that have changed over to a lot of that electronic junk. Are these mechanical sirens in Wisconson used for fire departments or weather? Columbus Ohio ...

Federal 5T 1958

I know a lot of you guys are CD buffs so here is a shot of a 5T I redid to recreate it's looks like it did 50 years ago. ( please no comments on the background, it was done on purpose as the siren is all people should see.LOL)

I love the 2nd recording - you hear other sirens in the background... That's the type of sounds I use to hear and miss.. I lived in a 2 square mile radius of five SD10's and ten model 5's.. + horns.

Nice, ! This is a great place...I never saw a public website so proud of their sirens to go as far as pictures and full desriptions... Most places around here want to remove the "annoying" loud sirens... jerkasses!
