Rules and regulations of the Air Raid Siren Forums
SECTION 1: Posting and General Conduct
One - We are a drama free zone. This includes hate speech, being rude, sarcasm, calling others out, inappropriate or degrading PM"s, etc.. Any blatant disrespect towards other users will result in an immediate action. We will no longer tolerate snowballing rude post. The term "Kiddie" is no longer allowed. Ever. We all have strengths here on ARS that we as a community can put to good use and learn from. Instead of snowballing and being degrading, point the user towards the correct information. Be the solution, not the problem.
Two - Grammar and Signatures. The letter R is not a substitute for the word ARE just as the letter U is not a substitute for the word YOU. Use your words and punctuation. Per request of our members, Please refrain from the over use of emojis. Using several emoticons in one setting clutters the post and makes them difficult to read. Please remember that we strive for a clean professional environment. This also includes signatures. If your signature is over 4 lines deep, you will be asked and expected to edit it. A few emoticons here and there is fine. Profanity of any kind is not allowed. First offense = Account warning. Second offense = Ban.
Three - Age limit. This is a big one. In order to comply with COPPA, you must be 13 years of age to maintain an active account.
Four - Be tolerant. Any disrespect towards another member based on gender, race, orientation, or religion will result in an administrative action. We no longer will tolerate ANY form of abuse. Refer to Section 1, Rule 2. Absolutely no discussion about these topics will take place on ARS Forums.
Five - Make sure your information is correct. If you are not 100The Siren Boardure about the validity of the information you"re about to post, please do not hesitate to contact a Siren Expert, an Admin, or a Mod. Information from Wikipedia, YouTube, and Internet Searches are not always factual or correct. We can ensure our community here on ARS has a great deal of information and can get you the correct information you need. Please be detailed in your post, It is very hard to have a discussion about something when the original post is lacking information. Falsified information is not tolerated.
Six - Bumping topics. Bumping topics is okay AS LONG AS related information is relayed to the thread. We think that allowing topics to be bumped will help engage conversation on some older topics, as well as bringing new information to light. Please be mindful when bumping a topics and make sure your information is related and correct. Also, if you have any questions about bumping a topic, feel free to contact a staff member.
Seven - Stay on topic. If you have something you"d like to post not directly related to a certain topic, Please place it in its appropriate forum, The Off-Topic Section. Gibberish and meme lingo isn"t allowed. Strive for professionalism.
Eight - Respect other"s property. The duplication and republishing of another person"s work, video, audio, photo, etc. is prohibited on ARS. What does this mean? Taking someone else"s work and uploading it as your own is theft. Out of respect for our users, any media that is republished that isn"t owned by you will be removed along with your access to the siren forums. Do NOT steal someone else"s work.
Nine - Avoid constant slander of siren products. Users are not to repetitively bash or make derogatory statements about specific siren products or any other things. An occasional negative comment about products will be tolerated, but action will be taken against users found doing this consistently.
SECTION 2: Private Messages
We have a Private Message feature! A private message, or PM for short, is a message sent in private from a member to one or more other members. Private messages are generally used for personal conversations. Be advised that the rules apply in a PM. Any PM that violates the rules should be flagged or reported via the report button. Board Rules apply in the PM feature.
SECTION 3: Reports, Abuse, and Banning
If you see something that breaks the rules in any way, use the report/flag button located on every post. This will alert the team which allows us to look into the issue. ]
Bans will be handed on a case by case basis.
