Altona, MB residents upset over new tornado siren

When I travel further north, I will check out the siren(s) in Winkler, MB. Around two years ago, the Winkler Fire Dept. moved into a new fire station in a different part of the city. The old fire station had a Federal 7 hp(?) siren on the hose tower. I am curious to see if that siren is still there.

A lot of towns on the Prairies have sirens at the fire departments. A mix of Federal Signals, Canadian Carters, and CLM's.

I've often wondered whether tornado-prone towns in the Prairie Provinces had siren systems for tornado warning, and whether any of the old CLM sirens were still being used for that purpose.

The only CLM I know is still used is in Rouleau, Saskatchewan (Also know as Dog River in the show Corner Gas). Its an Omni-Directional CLM (on the fire hall) and wasn't used for quite some time but they recently started using again.
