I'm with you, I am interested to see what becomes of the 1000. I am going to guess the Thunderbolt will be kept as an all original 1000, but I am only just taking a blunt guess. Not many people own gridfaced thunderbolts, hence peaking my interest in it's future.ArrowShooter1003 wrote:Is it being converted into a 1000B (single phase)?
I'm not sure yet, but in the near future it will be cleaned up and kept in its current state, until the temps warm up, i get more time, and more money become available.Thunderbolt10031 wrote:Are you gonna paint it yellow or make it a bumble or blunderbolt. I personally would make it a bumblebolt but that's just my opinion.

Is it the 1000 that's rare or is it the jailbar and/or both that's rare?mixerbd699 wrote:I plan on keeping it the way it is since they're not very many of these sirens around so i would like to try and keep it as close to original as I can.
Jailbar 1000s were the most common original (chopper cap not changed) Jailbars. Its actally a lot rarer to get an original 1000T Jailbar; the only original one known was the 17th and Gow St. 1000T in Whichita, KS (I can send you the link if you PM me).coastalsyrolover wrote:Is it the 1000 that's rare or is it the jailbar and/or both that's rare?mixerbd699 wrote:I plan on keeping it the way it is since they're not very many of these sirens around so i would like to try and keep it as close to original as I can.
