Part of me feels a Thunderbolt would look good in a Burnt Orange...

What color is that?
Proudly own a Edwards Model E, a Federal Enterprises Model 2, and a semi butched Thunderbolt 1003A converted to "B". Possibly a 3T22 soon.

I'm going to post a video on Saturday of this siren. Just a chopper run but still.

Bumpity bump like Donald Trump, I managed to get the motor for the blower hooked up and gave it a spin. It would have been sooner but school and not having a Federal Pacific breaker set me back.

Sorry in advance for it being a Snapchat video.

Link fixed.

I'm currently in the process of removing all the paint from the siren. The chopper cap along with the top of the blower box have been stripped and primed grey. Here is a picture of the mostly stripped chopper cap with no primer.

The pictures show it as a gold color but it's more of a dull silver.

Bumping again.
I've taken the standpipe I had to a machine shop. They should get it ready to be mounted on the blower assembly. Updates to come.

Side note and a complete shot in the dark if anyone has a 4/5 port chopper they would like to see go into a 1003 I will be happy to buy it and trade my old one. PM if anyone feels interested.

It's been a long time since I've seen a thunderbolt restoration on here. Keep up the good work! Good luck on the 4/5 chopper, they are one of the more rare Federal objects on here.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

Thank you sir. I shall. I toyed with the idea of seeing if I could get one machined but I don't have a picture of one. If anyone does post it here and I'll see what I could do. There are at least 4 machine shops within 10 miles of my house and lots more around me. I bet someone will know what they're doing,

Here are a couple of pictures from before I reassembled mine.
