Couls somebody please post a recording of a singles tone t-bolt and a duel tone one? Some people say the only difference in the two is the tone. But i dunno.

I never heard a 1000 before.. it's kinda plain. i thought they were all 2 tone model 2 rotors inside. I guess the 1000 is like the "no options" model. The 1003T high low is the best of the model thunderbolts in my opinion.

WHOA!
I thought this was a 2001, but I didn't see this video! The windup tells all! I believe this one is right up there with the Glassport T-1000T.

I think this video is probably the best as far as hearing both models side by side and how different their sound really is.

You all have it completely wrong with the exception of the definition of a single toned and a dual toned sound. The siren in the video was recorded in downtown Cincinnati and it's the single toned 1000 that's seen. Downtown Cincy has absolutely no 2001s with the exception of one older style one under an awning and that's definetely not it. There is a dual toned 1000T heard in the background. If you actually read the caption in the video the 1000T is a few buildings behind him.

If I'm right, that thunderbolt is putting out a tone of 765Hz. If I did my math right, that means that the rotor is spinning at 9180RPM!

Those things are quite capable of spinning that fast. The motors are all ball-bearing and the rotors I believe are dynamically balanced.
