On the Long Island site, listen to the Model 7 at West Babylon. It sounds a lot like this one.

I can tell by the tone it is a Sentry.

We have a Sentry 10V here in Post, and when it starts up it sounds just like that.

Its gotta' be a Sentry.

Listen to that "Cabot High School" Thunderbolt on the same page as this video. Something is really wrong with that one!

thats a sentry or a rare ACA.. of course it would help if we could hear the wind down to be sure..no thanks to the dopy 3 minute straight steady signal cycle....... I still don't get it.. varios rises and falls , multiple cycles would be more effective than a 3 minute 1 cycle, that gets so annoying and this is coming from a siren guy.

The Cabot High School Thunderbolt sounds like it's got a lugie stuck in it's throat. Disgusting, yes. That thing sounds so bad that my Jack Russel terrier, Whiskers, was in my lap a few minutes ago when I pulled up the video, and as it started blaring, he looked at the screen with that "What on God's green earth is that irritating noise?" He cocked his head and whimpered at it. That siren's got issues.

But it is not a 10V2T, 15V2T, 20V2T, or 40V2T. It is a single tone. It is some kind of single tone. :D

A Sentry model was my first guess. As for the actual model, I can't tell by the sound, other than it being single toned.
