I just hope I don't run into too many problems like vibration, motor misalignment etc etc.
I based the entire scale thing off of the distance between the two choppers that I would have to have because of the size of the dual shaft motor I was using. That just dawned on me. I guess I could have used a smaller motor and made the thing smaller now.  Oh well I've gone this far with it I might as well keep going. I kind of wanted the next siren I tried to be larger than the mini-Thunderbolt anyway.

Here's a pic of the "roughed out" rotors. I guess they aren't that "roughed out" because the outer diameter is final and the inner bore is done. They still need ports, (obviously) the center holes reamed, set screw holes drilled and tapped and to be finished to length. They are about half and inch too long now because of excess needed to hold onto while doing all the mill work. I made 10 rotors in all. I guess I can take suggestions for other port combinations if anyone has any weird things they want to hear. If I have the time I can make some extras with odd port numbers so I can mix and match for weird combinations. Since the rotors are larger I should be able to get an actual 8/10 ratio of 1/2 inch holes for the hurricane sound. Not sure if I can get 12 - 1/2 inch holes on this diameter rotor though.

If you have time and resources you should make a 7/10 :)

Yeah, you can find them for GREAT prices on eBay. It's the perfect fit for this project and would give more than enough air.

Perfect fit? Wow thanks! I can't even say it's the perfect fit but you already know that. Now I can just get one and not worry about if it will work or not.....
