An 11 ohm IMPEDANCE siren speaker will read between 4 and 5 ohms when checking the driver RESISTANCE.

Sorry to bring up this old p;ost but I just acquired a Federal PA-1 siren and had to replace the capacitors to get it working right. Send me a PM if you still need help with the PA-5.
