Since none of you believe me, why not call the city for your own sake and hear it first hand??? You have no reason to be mad at me, as I am just telling you exactly what the city said. Yeah it is stupid, but there is nothing you can do about it, nor can I do about it.

They must be considering putting it up on the edge of town, otherwise I'm having a hard time figuring out why they'd want to keep it if they could make a few hundred bucks from selling it...
