Denver Siren in MN

Hi all,

Fairly sure I stumbled upon a Denver Siren this weekend...in the town of Warba, MN (Population 182).

Only had time to stop for a quick shot. Hope to be back in that area again soon & get more shots & some info.

This looks very similar to the one my uncle photographed, probably is the exact one.

could you get some better shots please? I am 90%positive this is an early Sterling variant of the Denver. it does not look as large as the 1915-1917 Denver sirens

The smaller housing looks original to the siren, whereas the larger housing looks homemade.

As far as I know, Denver sirens never had a "housing" over the stators. Just a motor cover. Most had/have a home made tin roof over them, so I would assume it is home made.
