Lenawee County Siren Pics

Mon Nov 04, 2013 2:45 am

I thought I'd share with you guys all of my Lenawee County siren photos I've taken thus far. I set out one day two weeks ago as well as today on my way home from Lansing to get some good pics of all the sirens I could find. I still have a few more towns to hit up, and I should have time later this week if not this weekend to do that. And so without further ado, let's get to the pics. (In no particular order)

Hudson FD, used to have a Federal Model 5 at their station prior to the April 3, 1974 tornado that touched down south of town. They purchased the Thunderbolt for use at the station, and moved the Model 5 out to a factory on the northwest side of M-34 and Munson Highway. However, when that factory closed, I believe they removed the siren.

Sincerely yours,

Ron W.

I like how Hudson "labeled" their Tbolt. Nice Pictures!
