Code 3 LP6000 question.

Wed Sep 17, 2014 7:02 pm

Hey guys, I don't know if anybody has had this problem with a Code 3 LP6000 halogen lightbar, but the main drive gear on 3 of the rotators are stripped out. Does Code 3 sell those gears as a part? I would really like to avoid buying new rotators.

Get in touch with Code 3 http://www.code3pse.com/Code3/sas_technicalsupport/ OR a dealer close to you http://www.code3pse.com/Code3/sas_sales/ who sells/installs Code 3 products...another possibility would be feE-BAY ...I have noticed many good, used light bar parts and pieces there....I believe the MX 7000 would have the same gear set up as well.
Before you go pulling rotators, be sure and check to see if there is any adjustments that can be made to the gears...I am not sure on LP 6000 ,but I have seen where it is possible to further engage/disengage the gears via an adjustment mechanism elsewhere.
