Time will be extended to 5:00 PM EDT tomorrow (8/20/15). I am allotting so much more time because this is such a large county.

Here is my map. System of Whelen 3016's, they can face up to 8 cardinal directions, warning only impacted areas, with voice messages, and alert tones. There are also some Whelen 2908's for the Dam failure system. Alert for Fire alert (Tune To TV/Radio), Wail for Fire Warning/Immediate Evacuation, HI-LO for Firefighter fire call, Airhorn for all clear. Prerecorded live messages are used. For the Dam failure system, whoop and voice are used.

The winner of this FSMC is...
JMAN12343610
Congratulations JMAN, you have taken first place! I picked his map because voice capability would seem like a necessity in these situations, guiding people where to evacuate and what not. Also, the dam failure system was nice.

I almost had to pick Fire1120's map, it was pretty good too. The Tempest sirens would reverberate awesomely off of the various hills and mountains that surround the area. I just thought some of the sirens were a bit close.

FSMC #7 should be announced somewhat soon.

Yeah, I wanted to get good coverage but now that I take another look at the map it does look a bit overkill. JMAN's map turned out a lot better than mine though.

Thanks! This map took a while, as I started Wednesday but finished it this morning. I chose 3016's because when you picked wildfire warning system, and California, I thought of this image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/80686082@N02/8452839997/

Time for FSMC #7!

I apologize for the long wait, school has yet again infringed on my FSMC plans. :P

Briefing:
Anyways, this one will be a HUGE one. We are focusing on Fulton County, Georgia. As you all know, the largest city in this county is... Atlanta! Atlanta, as of right now, has NO siren system whatsoever. It's your job to give it one! I will add that some municipalities in Fulton County have their own separate systems, and it's ok if some of your own sirens are in the same spots. Anyways...

This FSMC will start at 4:45 PM EDT today, and will end at 5:00 PM EDT in two days (8/24/15).

Enjoy!

So I messed up... I put the ending date for this challenge for two days ago (When I made it) but meant to put it for today... SO the challenge will now end in TWO days, which will be August 28th. Sorry for the inconvenience!
