Greetings from Western NY! I recently acquired a Federal Electric Co. Type 20 industrial horn. It's been a long time since the horn has been used and I'm interested in testing it out. Before I do, I have a few questions. Here are a couple photos the horn and it's data tag:

From what I can tell, it says:
Volts: 110
Current: DC
Type: 20
Serial No.: 25CY
Question #1: Is the serial number really "25CY", or are they indicating something else? "25CY" makes me think 25 cycles, which would be a characteristic of AC power. There's a good chance the factory this horn came from received 25 cycle AC power from Niagara Falls, which is only 20 miles away.
Question #2: If this horn really needs 110VDC, what's the best way to get this power? 110VDC is tough to come by these days.
Question #3: What are the chances this will run at 110VAC? That would be ideal!
Here's a photo of the internals, if that helps any:
Thanks in advance for any help!
Joe
