Perry Nuclear Siren Map

Wed Oct 10, 2018 10:09 pm

With Noxfest being today, I decided to try and find more of their system, since were only less than 10 left to find. What I did not expect was to catch a lucky break, and find this document on this NRC website.

https://www.nrc.gov/docs/ML1627/ML16274A062.pdf

Since I found that and spent about an hour trying to navigate the old map, I managed to find the rest of the locations I was missing in the system, and most of them were in spots that I was not expecting to find a siren at. So here is the complete map of all 76 of Perry's sirens. Of note is that there are possibly 4 Whelens left in the system. The 4004 in Geneva which is still active, the 2016 at the plant itself which should still be there, albeit I couldn't see it in person from the road, a 2016 which is still standing as of July, plus a 2008 which is most likely gone since the imagery there hasn't been updated since September 2015. All other 72 locations are confirmed to be Equinoxes.

My videos from today will be up later tonight or possibly early tomorrow.
Sirens, they're loud!
