Are these still made anywhere?
As I child, I was told they were banned because
they could be mistaken for an ambulance.
These were basically noverty toys for children to mount onto a bicycle. The siren mounted by the front wheel on a support, and there was a long chain that was wrapped around the handlebar that attached to the siren. when you pull the chain, the siren swiveled into place and rubbed a nub against the tire, spinning it up and making a racket.
