Do we have any Decot videos?

That's got to be the best-sounding siren next to the T-bolt 1000T, in my opinion.
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI

How interesting! Thank you, Conky!

A minor 6th!! 10/16 D5 and A#5
But I don't hear the F4 resultant.

Why have two sirens next to one another?
The louder Thunderbolt will prevail, making the other needless.

I think it's because one may not work fully. I think it was on the Civil Defense Museum site that I heard that a fire chief was keeping his old VFD siren on a building for the sole purpose of being a spare.

I think that Joe said that the Thunderbolt is used for warning people of tornadoes, and that the Decot is used to alert firefighters that they have a task.

I think the Thunderbolt is a 1000.

This Thunderbolt is single toned, so you are correct. It is a 1000

Yep the TB is a single tone and is used for tornados. The Decot is used for fire calls. I was the one who recorded it.
