H.O.R. Super Sirex Siren Map

Sun Jun 19, 2022 6:26 pm

A little while ago I took it upon myself to start tracking down as many of the (currently) known past-and-present locations of cold-war era H.O.R (Harry O. Ricci) model "Super Sirex" sirens.

Obviously, I haven't tracked down every single Super Sirex location, but with the help of a couple of other fellow enthusiasts, I have uncovered a lot of locations over the past several months, a great majority of which I did not have prior knowledge about.

That being said, here’s the link to the map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi ... 000002&z=8

If anyone has any questions, comments, or recommendations, feel free to let me know!

(5.1666266, -75.7656331) Active as fire siren. (5.4570719, -74.6636643) Active as a fire siren with a Telegraphia siren next to it used as a flood siren.
I uh have interest in searching for sirens in countries that no one cares about? :|

That first one definitely looks alot like super sirex. What a find! The second one fooled me too when i found it a couple years ago, but upon closer inspection, it seems to be some columbian-built siren.
