That's the "newer" blower type with the smaller blower.
The "old" blowers just putt-putt along.
What's with all the walking back and forth?
I like this one you put up. Nice chopper transformer setting. :D

Thunderbolt 1000 Blower

Sun Sep 02, 2007 1:24 am

In my youtube Video of the Terrible 1000 in Plymouth, there is probably a good 30 seconds or more in there towards the middle and end, of JUST the blower running as the siren pretty much fails.

Hope that helps.

Sounds like the chopper bearings are almost frozen. They ought to get the thing fixed before the whole motor burns up. That's another one of the higher-speed Type C blowers.

Eric: I really like that T-1003 too!
When you did the recording of the T-1000T in Allen, did you hear the blower? When I first heard it start in the beginning of the recording, I could only hear the motor start, no blower. Was it one of the older type blowers?

I don't remember hearing the blower on that thing.
I was down the street at least 200 feet from that Allen Thunderbolt
and the blower was around the back corner of the building from where
I was parked. It should have been a newer style blower because that
thing had the new FS logos on it so it was probably from the late 70s.
