The screen bracket will reflect sound waves back? :?
Any obstruction in the projector sound path will cause standing waves which can cause some cancellation.
Always seeking the ideal, I'd remove that bracket if not being used for anything.

There is cancellation, but it is so small that it does not make a difference to the people who hear it. You could put an ordinary stereo-speaker in the throat of the Thunderbolt, and no difference will be detected by one's ear. When the choice comes between keeping pests out of a siren or just harnessing that last fraction of a sound watt, I'd pick the first.

Yes, but the screen is gone.
The bracket remains and provides a footing for a nest.

I'd try to squeeze out every mili-dB I could.

After finishing a bottle of juice, I pour in water, shake and rinse the entire interior, then drink it.
Did the same with our empty 1.5L bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream. Was delicious!

I've seen you on YouTube before...bookmarked a ton of your videos. Nice clip of that 1003. It was interesting to see one mounted on a steel pole.
