On ASC's website, they say that they produced the 'Screemer.' Is that right?

So does an alerter scream, or an allertor screem? Perhaps their ad manager majored in creative spelling.

If they made sirens for the Pacific theatre in WWII, maybe that photo of the cone-shaped siren being installed in Pearl Harbor was an ACA siren.

It looks more like a Hedberg Super Siren of around 3-5 horsepower.

Here is a dual-headed, apparently two tone version of this siren. I found it somewhere online but couldn't find it again, so apologies for the lack of citation. It is located in Soledad, California.
