Sounds like one of the cams may be stuck or not working all together try placing graphite powder on the cam and see if it works.

If the cams are the moving discs, then all three move and I hear the switches click.

AR Timer question

Sun Dec 16, 2007 4:44 pm

Does anyone have or know where I could get a full wiring diagram or a manual for my AR Timer? My AR Timer has a small diagram on the panel door (only for terminals 1-9).

Thanks,
Bryant

Thanks for any and all assistance,

If the yellow light is marked for 120 volt use, the neon bulb is probably dying. If it is a 240 volt indicator, there is insufficient voltage. After 20-30 years, neon bulbs turn black with carbon, leak gas, or get light sensitive and flicker or go out when light strikes the bulb. You can find indicators almost identical to these on eBay (search for pilot lights). Same with the red one, which should come on with the timer motor.
