I personally like the sound of a 10-port siren. Remember that recording of a 3T22 with the stuck solenoid? Only the top 10-port rotor produced any sound because the damper in the bottom was stuck closed.

The bottom is 10 port, top 12.
This allows the power line to descend from the motor through the space between the 10 cones.
The 12 cones do not have enough space between them.
